CIBC has nearly 30 years of experience in the structured notes business globally, starting in Canada in 1995. In 2012, their structured notes business was launched in Europe through its London branch. CIBC Capital Markets (Europe) S.A. was then established in Luxembourg in 2020 as a result of Brexit, offering a subset of capital markets products to European clients. The addition of CIBC will support our efforts to strengthen the Luxembourg-based structured products industry as a high-quality segment serving market participants.
